Applying for Norwegian Reward Status Match is easy. All you have to do is:
- Be a EuroBonus Gold or Diamond member
- Be a Norwegian Reward member ( Not yet a member? Sign up here )
- Fill in the application form and submit proof of your EuroBonus status. Note: Upload one image where both your name and EuroBonus status are visible, as shown below.

- Once approved, you’ll have Norwegian Reward Priority for 60 days
- To keep it for a full year, you’ll need to book and fly twice with Norwegian or Widerøe (non PSO-routes only) within those first 60 days

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Norwegian Reward Status Match
Norwegian Reward Status Match allows current SAS EuroBonus Gold and Diamond members to match their top-tier status to Norwegian Reward Priority, offering them frequent flyer benefits and privileges when travelling with Norwegian and Widerøe.
Any member of the SAS EuroBonus program holding a Gold or Diamond membership is eligible for the status match to Norwegian Reward Priority.
No, EuroBonus Silver members are not eligible for the status match.
To apply for the status match, you need to:
- Log in to your Norwegian Reward account (or sign up to Norwegian Reward if you are not already a member)
- Fill in the application form found at (insert link)
- Provide proof of your current SAS EuroBonus Gold or Diamond status (See ‘What documentation is required to prove my SAS EuroBonus status?’)
- Submit the application
If your application is accepted, you must book and fly at least two flights with Norwegian or Widerøe (non PSO-routes only) within the following 60 days in order to keep your Norwegian Reward Priority status.
You will need to upload a photo or screenshot of your SAS EuroBonus membership card showing your name, status level and expiry date of the status, and a recent statement from your SAS EuroBonus account.
The status match process takes up to 30 days from the date of your application. You will receive an email once your application has been reviewed to let you know if it has been successful or not.

Initially, your Norwegian Reward Priority status will be valid for 60 days after the match is granted. To extend this status to a full year, you must book and fly at least two flights with Norwegian or Widerøe (non PSO-routes only) within this 60-day period. To maintain your status after this first year, you need to qualify for it by taking a minimum of 32 flights with Norwegian within that year.
If you do not meet the requirement of booking and flying two flights with Norwegian or Widerøe (non PSO-routes only) within the 60-day period, your Norwegian Reward Priority status will not be extended for the full year and will expire after the initial 60 days.
Any flight booked and flown with Norwegian or Widerøe (non PSO-routes only) will count towards this requirement. Flights with a stopover count as two flights. Ensure that your Norwegian Reward membership number is included in the booking in order to correctly register your flights.
No, your two qualifying flights must be booked and flown in the 60-day period after your status match is approved.
Yes, existing Norwegian Reward members who hold SAS EuroBonus top-tier status can also apply for the status match.
Once your status has been matched, it will remain valid for the initial 60-day period, regardless of any changes to your SAS EuroBonus status during that time. To extend your Norwegian Reward Priority status for a full year, you must meet the flight requirement (see question ‘How long will my Norwegian Reward Priority status be valid?’).
No, there is no fee to apply for the status match. It is a complimentary offer for eligible SAS EuroBonus members.
Yes, once your status match is approved and your account is updated, you can immediately start enjoying the benefits of the Norwegian Reward Priority on all bookings. However, please note that you will not receive the Avis President’s Club benefit until after you have taken your two qualifying flights within the initial 60-day period (see question ‘How long will my Norwegian Reward Priority status be valid?’).
Yes, you will receive the Norwegian Reward Priority benefits on flights booked before you received the status match.
